Garlic and Herb Subs

Better than Subway!

Ingredients
  • 4½-5 cups bread mix (or plain flour if you must)
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup water
  • 3 tbsp yeast
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • ½ cup olive oil
  • 2 tsp mixed herbs
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
Instructions
  1. Normal yeast method; warm milk, water and sugar, add yeast, proof. Knead in everything else until silky smooth and not sticky. Let rise until it doubles. Shape into rolls/subs. Rise again. Bake at 180 deg cel. Cooking time varies based on roll sizes. For me this makes either 16 rolls or 8 subs (or 8 rolls and 4 subs as above).
