Jelly Cookies
Quick, easy and darn delicious
Ingredients
- 125 g butter (soft)
- 1 packet jelly crystals (jell-o for the yanks)
- 1 egg
- 1 ⅓ cups plain flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
Instructions

Cream together butter and jelly crystals. Add everything else and beat bajeesus out of until it all comes together nicely. Roll into balls and squish down a wee bit. Bake at 180 until just starting to brown on the bottoms.
The Ramblings:
So Matt loves jerky, like a lot. So for Christmas I got him a dehydrator so we can make our own… Unfortunately, I spilled my guts and told him about it on the weekend… Whooooooopsie…. And in even worse form, I may have gotten it in the mail today and decided that I want it and it’s mine… Not my finest moment…….and now I have my first batch of maple and cinnamon apples dehydrating! Woohooo!!!!
