Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup boiling water
- 1 tea bag
- 1/4 cup milk
- 125g butter
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 cups SR flour
- 1 egg
- juice of an orange (around 1/3 cup give or take)
- 2 tsp butter
- 2 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
Method:
Steep teabag in boiling water for a few minutes. Add milk and let sit to continue cooling while you get everything else sorted. Pop everything else down to the orange juice in a bowl and add the tea just as you start beating. Beat on high for a few minutes until it is nice and pale. Bake at 160 deg cel until a skewer comes out clean. While still warm spread the extra butter on top then sprinkle over the combined cinnamon and sugar.
The Ramblings:
This morning I am off over to the big house for smoko as one of gorgeous neighbours is coming over. Normally I would have a picture with it cut but don’t want to take over a cut cake, that seems a bit dodgy! Anyway, I have to go in a moment so I’ll save my babbling for over there, happy baking!
