Garlic Aoili
Creamy, decadent and made in mere seconds!
Ingredients
- 1 cup oil (mild flavor works best)
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vingar
- 2 tsp minced garlic
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp mustard powder
- 1 tsp mixed herbs
Instructions
Stick everything in a small jug and zoom up with stick blender until smooth and creamy. That's it!
The Ramblings:
After making mayo cake the other day, the concept of making my own mayo has really intrigued me. I have been looking at the recipes on pinterest not believing that it could be this simple, but it is! I tweaked it to be more of an aoili, keep away the vampires, but as long as you have an oil, egg, and vinegar (or for with seafood try lemon!) you can add basically anything that takes your fancy.

Hi Lynda, because of the raw egg business I am quite wary of keeping it for longer than a few days.
