The Ramblings:
A few weeks ago I spoke about my cousin who sells his beautiful meat at the markets. During Toowoomba winter (aka cold, wet and disgusting), I have to take my hat off to him for the hours he keeps and the weather he endures! So this morning when we went to get some of his bacon and eggs (seriously the best bacon you will ever eat!!!) I took him some of Grandma’s butterscotch biscuits to warm the soul, fresh out of the oven.
Hazel appears to be quite comfortable where she is now… Glad one of us is comfy….. Matt gets down here tonight though so I’m hoping she’s been hanging in for him and perhaps tonight she’ll decide to finally get out? I know… I doubt it too…. but a girl can dream right?! In the mean time I shall keep distracting myself by feeding people!
ps, Grandma’s butterscotch biscuits are quite similar to my caramel cookies! I knew I loved them for a reason!!!
