Beer Caramelised Onion

A super simple way to snazzy up snags or steak!

Ingredients
  • 2 onions (sliced in fine half rings)
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 2 tsp minced garlic
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar (firmly packed)
  • 1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
  • 1 beer
Instructions

  1. Brown off onions with butter and garlic. Add sugar and keep cooking for a few more minutes. Add sauce and beer and simmer until all moisture has gone (this may take 15-20 min) then stir constantly while onions caramelise.
