Date Loaf

Fast, simple and packed with delicious goodness

Servings: 10 Slices
Ingredients
  • 1 cup dates (chopped)
  • 60 g butter
  • 4 weetbix
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 tsp bicarb soda
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup SR Flour
Instructions

  1. Cover dates, butter, weetbix, sugar and bicarb in boiling water and let sit for 10 minutes. Beat through eggs then flour. Pour into a loaf tin and bake at 180 deg cel until a skewer comes out clean.
