Large batch biscuits that can be easily halved if you aren't feeding an army.
Bung the butter, sugar, honey and syrup in a saucepan and mix over low heat until all nice and dissolved. Let cool for 10 min. Mix all the dry ingredients together (I'm lazy and do it in the mixer on low). Gradually pour in the butter mix, add eggs and beat for a few minutes. Turn out onto a floured bench and knead until it's not so sticky (don't keep adding until its not at all sticky or you'll end up with rocks). Glad wrap and stick in the freezer for 15 min. Shape as desired then bake at 180 deg cel until bottoms are brown. Ice when cool.
Lightly beat the whites then mix in the sugar and flour. Add lemon juice to create desired consistency.
