Nanna's Pumpkin Scones

Quick, easy and darn delicious!

Ingredients
  • 2 oz butter (half-ish of 125g)
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup mashed pumpkin (cold and well drained)
  • 2 cups plain flour
  • 2 tsp cream of tartar
  • 1 tsp bicarb soda (3 tsp of baking powder works if you don't have the separates)
Instructions

  1. Combine butter and sugar. Add egg, pumpkin and mix well. Add everything else. Roll out onto floured bench and cut out. Bake in hot oven until brown on the bottom.
