Rolled Oats Biscuits

The ultimate care package cookies

Ingredients
  • 125 g butter
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups plain flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 cups oats
  • 1 cup dried fruit (I use a mixture of chopped dates and currants)
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
Instructions

  1. Cream butter and sugar. Add egg and vanilla. Add in flour and baking powder then chuck in everything else. Roll into balls, pop on trays and chuck in the freezer for 10-15 min while you preheat the oven to 220 deg cel then bake.
