A super simple way to snazzy up snags or steak!
- 2 onions (sliced in fine half rings)
- 1 tbsp butter
- 2 tsp minced garlic
- 1/2 cup brown sugar (firmly packed)
- 1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
- 1 beer
Brown off onions with butter and garlic. Add sugar and keep cooking for a few more minutes. Add sauce and beer and simmer until all moisture has gone (this may take 15-20 min) then stir constantly while onions caramelise.
The Ramblings:
I’m very excited, yesterday I got the call that I got my new job! So starting in a few weeks as well as cooking I’ll be the Westech Co-Ordinator! I’m super excited but in this few weeks beforehand I’m getting a jump on things and stocking the freezer. In an effort to retain sanity thouh, it will mean I’ll probably steady up a little on here. For the last little while I’ve been aiming for one a weekday but will probably go back to a couple a week.
